Dear friends,

With the changes in social media algorithms and the new heavy focus on paid marketing (which I am not willing to buy into), it has been a real challenge to make my RE:NEW course visible and get the word out. The truth is that there are still 3 places available and, without filling them, I will not start this 12 month course as planned on September 28. I have decided that next Monday is my cut off date to make a decision about whether to go ahead or not.

So, I am reaching out to those of you who do actually see this post to ask if you would be kind enough to share one of my posts about RE:NEW via your social with some personal words of recommendation if you that feels comfortable for you. Word of mouth and personal recommendation really does seem to be the most powerful way of reaching people these days.

If this does not feel right for you, then I totally understand and will not take it personally!!

Peach 🍑 and dried lavender🪻 harvest today. We planted 2 peach trees 5 years ago and this is our first real harvest. It has been an exercise in patience and love but, over the last few days, we have enjoyed 🍑 cobbler and prosecco and honey roasted 🍑🍾, and, this evening, I will be making jars of peach chutney🍑, peach jam🍑, and pickles 🍑. Yesterday I received the best birthday gift ever.

Yesterday I received the best birthday gift ever. @eoinscolard, @scolarda and Conor Scolard surprised me with something I had been dreaming of for a few years...a really beautiful copper still! Now I can distil my own essential oils from the many herbs and flowers I grow here. I use a lot of oils anyway and they can be expensive so this will create another level of self-sufficiency.

I love that the 4th section of the instructions is titled ALCHEMY! Cannot wait to get started!!
